Considered the "Summer" Patch the Green patch can be earned by completing the 8 hikes any day of the year 365 days a year. Just complete each of the 8 hikes in under 24 hours and you have earned the NEU8 Green Patch 

 To earn the Gold patch ALL 8 HIKES, MUST BE COMPLETED TWICE. EACH HIKE, MUST BE COMPLETED IN NON-WINTER, AND AGAIN A SECOND TIME, IN THE WINTER BETWEEN DECEMBER 21ST AND MARCH 21ST  FOR A TOTAL OF 16 HIKES!   

 Our Gold Patch is unique in the hiking community  and is clearly, the toughest hiking patch to earn in the North Eastern United States, and maybe the entire country, or even the entire world? We know the Gold Patch is Ultra tough to earn! Only 5 Finishers in 5 years. Good luck and be safe, attempting these hikes in the Winter!
