Considered the "Summer" Patch the Green patch can be earned by completing the 8 hikes any day of the year 365 days a year. Just complete each of the 8 hikes and you have earned the NE8 Green Patch
THE GOLD PATCH
To earn the Gold patch ALL 8 HIKES, MUST BE COMPLETED TWICE. EACH HIKE, MUST BE COMPLETED IN NON-WINTER, AND AGAIN A SECOND TIME, IN THE WINTER BETWEEN DECEMBER 21ST AND MARCH 21ST FOR A TOTAL OF 16 HIKES!

THE NORTHEAST ULTRA 8 PATCH
EACH HIKE IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS
THIS PATCH IS FOR THE ULTRA HIKERS THOSE THAT WANT TO PUSH THE LIMITS OF HUMAN ENDURANCE EXPLORING EACH HIKE IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. This takes some serious effort focus and determination along the way. You will find out just how hard these hikes are when you try to do them each in less than 24 hrs. Just 56 finishers in 5 years. Winter is another story. Maximum effort required. Just 5 finishers in 5 years
THE GREEN PATCH
Considered the "Summer" Patch the Green patch can be earned by completing the 8 hikes any day of the year 365 days a year. Just complete each of the 8 hikes in under 24 hours and you have earned the NEU8 Green Patch
THE GOLD PATCH
To earn the Gold patch ALL 8 HIKES, MUST BE COMPLETED TWICE. EACH HIKE, MUST BE COMPLETED IN NON-WINTER, AND AGAIN A SECOND TIME, IN THE WINTER BETWEEN DECEMBER 21ST AND MARCH 21ST FOR A TOTAL OF 16 HIKES, each hike under 24hours.

THE NORTHEAST ULTRA 8 SKY RUNNER PATCH
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? SKY RUNNER?
This challenge is for trail runners! For the next level athlete that has no problem doing each of these hikes in under 24 hours! For those that want to challenge themselves to see how fast they can complete each run! You know who you are!
We have set strict time limits on each run. You must finish each run inside of these times to qualify for the Sky Runner Patch. The times are based on the known FKT's for each hike. The Fastest known times!
THE GREEN PATCH
Considered the "Summer" Patch the Green patch can be earned by completing the 8 NEU8 runs any day of the year 365 days a year. Just complete each of the 8 NEU8 runs within the time limits set by the NEU8 Sky Runners and you have earned the NEU8 Sky Runner Green Patch
THE GOLD PATCH
To earn the Gold patch ALL 8 runs, MUST BE COMPLETED TWICE. EACH RUN, MUST BE COMPLETED IN NON-WINTER, AND AGAIN A SECOND TIME, IN THE WINTER BETWEEN DECEMBER 21ST AND MARCH 21ST FOR A TOTAL OF 16 RUNS!
